Lotus reveals the new GTC Evora race car that headed towards Rolex Sports Car Series Grand-Am

The Lotus automaker cannot be on an even at this time, but Lotus Racing seems to be chugging along fine. A hopeful sign: the outfit recently revealed its latest racing cars based on the Evora, the GTC. While the Evora GTC is not exactly new — is an evolution of the hardest core of Evora GT4 Enduro racer suit current — is damn cool-looking.

To create the GTC, Lotus Racing has started with an Evora GT4 and stripped out some 66 kilograms, replacing the panels of fiberglass doors, roof and bonnet with carbon fiber parts. Lotus also installed windows in Plexiglas, and the result is a 2500-pound weight waiflike fillet. (The most recent road car Lotus Evora S we tested weighed in at 3171 lbs.) Traction control and a Bosch anti-lock braking system were installed, as were 18 inch tyres which necessitated wider flares fender that's awesome see in the pictures. Powertrain, GT4 carries the Evora GTC, which means the same as 450 hp, 4.0-liter V-6 engine and paddle shifting sequential shift 6-speed.
Try the Evora GTC in the coming races Rolex Sports Car Series. McMahon Raceworks already has placed an order for the new car, and another team currently running an Evora GT4 will soon have its self updated status of GTC. If you want a plus 400-hp Evora for use away from the track, we suggest always on the Horn with Lotus and begging the company send the GTE road car only China here to tag of the United States: Lotus Evora, Lotus, Lotus Evora GTC |
