What is it?
The latter offers car-maker meteoric Hyundai - a compact minivan named ix20 - and a car with which the company deserves to be even more successful.
For two years on the back of the success of implementing city i10, car scrappage Hyundai has doubled its share of UK automotive market.
This year it looks like sell more than 60,000 cars in Britain: more Fiat, Mazda, possibly Honda too.
The recipe for success is simple: offer cars are as well as established volume and in some cases better players. Save with a great warranty. And make them exceptional value: not cheap, just good value.
Created by this philosophy, the ix20's Citroen C3 Picasso, Nissan Note in his sights.
He just Nosovice plant Cabinet in the Czech Republic and sharing many things with sister car Kia Venga.
However, Hyundai makes Venga for Kia, not the opposite - and while we we will later, this fact allows Hyundai UK even more competitive than the Kia ix20 award.

He loves?
There is almost nothing that seems low rent on the ix20. As the ix35 there too much style and a cabin for decent quality with simple, robust materials.
It is also very convenient. Hyundai proclaims loudly that, thanks to sliding rear seats, you will find more space cab back here that in the back of a Volvo XC90. Even large adults want to head ? or space for the legs.
If you fold flat rear seats you allow 1486 litres of luggage, which is more than what you get in some areas of SMEs.
What is missing is a fold-down front passenger seat for very long loads and somewhat oddment extra storage.
As his sister Kia Venga model, the ix20 comes with a choice of 1.4 litre petrol, 1.6 engine litres gasoline and 1.4 liter diesel - but the difference in Venga, the system of gets fuel economy engine start-stop eating 1.4 litre of gasoline.
Test drives in two 1. 4S revealed a car with a quiet, compliant chassis is ideally suited for the use of the city.
Mechanical refinement is not quite as though we were hoping. Motor diesel four-cylinder from Hyundai gruff 2500rpm and a little laggy below, but its essence option is quieter and more reactive.
Thanks to that ISG, this is a real 50 mpg car too and only car engines gasoline in the class to qualify for a ? 90 a year tax disc.
There is a little on the availability of the ix20 to the drivers concerned.
Performance is acceptable but modest, steering system feels a bit vague and weighted inconsistently, and the car was not handling precision and body control at greater speed of cross-country skiing.
These things are not likely to disturb most mini-MPV drivers,- but for the record, the Nissan Note is a most engaging car driving.

Should I buy one?
If you absolutely love a bargain. The ix20 should cost less than ? 11,500 and gets the ESP, air conditioning, and USB connectivity as standard.
A score of 1.4 litre Nissan has a lower base price, but it can with kit similarly extends five-year warranty, and you'll find it becomes ? 12,000 car which is still less convenient and economical than the ix20.
Nissan, like virtually all other mini-MPV, also cost more to ensure.
Cars like Citroen C3 Picasso and the new Vauxhall Meriva offers more space than that car, but at great cost.
If you need a practical Interior that still feels small, it is very well packaged and fit for purpose and that you don't have to pay a price for great car for, this Hyundai comes highly recommended.
