Fiat Palio (a.k.a project 326) evolved booming in the Brazil. Now we have (could be) the nearest rendered so far for new Palio.
2011 Fiat PalioThe new Palio will be supposedly dimensions larger than the current model. If we can expect an interior space much better. In terms of design, new Palio will be strongly influenced by the current Punto.
2011 Fiat PalioThe place where the Palio seems better that the Punto is fires back. They are thin and then take an angular road to complete the rear design. The cutting line is higher than the Punto.
New Palio will come in 1 L, 1.4 L EVO and 1.6 16V engine E.torQ. Sport version will have the option of a sunroof.
Domestically, Dashboard will look like the Punto with four analog markers. First on the left side is the speedometer, fuel and gauge temperature gauge is mounted in the middle and finally on the right is the tachometer. Dashboard will be black with chrome rims and Red pointers. Steering column will be two-tone grey top black and gray below.
It is very difficult to tell whether the new Palio will Indian roads. The reason being, it will also be competing with cousin Punto sales which are anyway at major risk of competition. We do not believe that Fiat can present a very aggressive price.
If there is a place where the Palio can be positioned, it is definitely the Punto. The Punto can become the Fiat, portfolio premium tailgate that can compete with people like i20 & Jazz. On the other hand, the new Palio will assume roles and responsibilities of driving sales volume. However, this suggestion is still a very long time!
